Sanjeet has a degree in mechanical engineering from Karnataka Regional Engineering College, (now NITK, Surathkal) and an MA in Education from Azim Premji University. He spent 23 years at Oracle Financial Services Software Limited across roles in product engineering, strategy, support, and implementation. He was a founding member of the team that developed the flagship core banking platform, FLEXCUBE.

His last designation was Vice President, Banking Product Strategy. In 2017, he left Oracle to pursue a full-time course at Azim Premji University that would equip him better to serve Sandeepan School, a low-fee rural school with a philanthropic mission located in native Khambadakone on the west coast of Karnataka that was started by his father.

Sanjeet is the President of the Shri R K Sanjiv Rao Educational & Cultural Academy which manages Sandeepan School. In addition, he is involved in various philanthropic and pro bono activities in Khambadakone and Bengaluru.

His other interests include playing football, playing drums, running, traveling, and classic automobiles.
